For twenty years Teresa worked for Precoat Metals as a crane operator, and then as an inventory control specialist. She later went to work as a logistics dispatcher for the Walmart company. Teresa was a survivor of breast cancer, and had been cancer free for five years. Her lifelong passions included knitting, crochet, sewing, needle-point, ceramics, macrame, quilting and many other crafts, all thanks to her mother’s skillful instruction. Teresa also loved gardening, reading, cinema, and Egyptian history.
Teresa is preceded in death by her mother Eleanor Climie, and her father Allan Climie. Her surviving immediate family members include children Tina Marie Vargas and Clara Noel Rowell, siblings Yvonne Randel and Gary Climie, sons in law Ricki Rowell and Rhonnie Acy, grandchildren Joshua Vargas, Robert Vargas, Kristyna Sandoval, Devin Stasiak, Anthony Stasiak, and Amanda Rowell, great-grandchildren Faith Vargas, Draven Vargas, Bobby Vargas, Eden Sandoval, Gage Vargas, Serenity Vargas, Connor Sandoval, and River Vargas, as well as adopted grandchildren Jessica Weathers, Jamila Ghazwani, Jamal Ghazwani, beloved dog Isabella, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would also like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to Teresa by Dr. Deepa Sashital.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. The memorial service will follow and begin at 2 p.m..
