Thelma “Aunt Thel” Reid, 86, of Baytown, TX was born February 24, 1920 in Elliott and passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 in a local assisted living facility. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church and retired from ExxonMobil with over 30 years of service.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, January 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Rosser officiating. Burial will follow at Elliott Cemetery in Robertson County at 3:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Perry, Boots Moore, Tom Porter, Glen Porter, Gary Porter, and Larry Macon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Norma Reid, brother, Howard Reid, and sisters, Alyne Perry, Beatrice Parker, and Tommie Macon and is survived by her sisters, Leona Smith of Baton Rouge, LA and Berniece Porter of Port Arthur and numerous nieces and nephews.
