Tom Kilpatrick

Tom Kilpatrick, 80 of Old River-Winfree, Texas gained his angel wings on January 15, 2025, after a well fought battle with dementia. Tom was born on February 10th, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan to Richard Kilpatrick and Vinetta Ford. Tom was an electrician who traveled across the country before eventually settling in Mont Belvieu, Texas in 1979. Tom began his career at Precoat Metals in 1984 as a maintenance technician where he would ultimately retire after 30 years in 2014. Tom was an avid fisherman, enjoyed cooking, and cheering for the Houston Texans. He was a beloved father and grandfather, cherished friend and great mentor to so many and he will be sorely missed.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and brother Dana, wife Janet Kilpatrick in 2003, and wife Jan Howard Kilpatrick in 2019.

Tom is survived by daughters, Cathy Hook and husband Jimmy, Chris Pollock and husband Derrick; bonus son and daughter in law, Robert and Chrissy Butcher; Grandchildren, Victoria Reichel and husband Robert, Joey McCauley and wife Jenny, Ethan Pollock and wife Jasmine, their children Emma and Grayson, Myles Pollock; Cooper Butcher and Thomas Butcher.

A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Navarre Funeral Home on Friday, January 24, 2025, beginning at 11am; with a reception to follow from 12pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family in Tom's honor.
