

Trisha Kay Cox, 34, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born on March 19, 1981, in Beaumont, to Donna Matthews Hornsby and Michael Hornsby. Trisha worked as a server for Iguana Joes Mexican Restaurant in Mt. Belvieu.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Verbal and Bill Hornsby and Verlene and H.H. Matthews.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Cox of Dayton; children, Preston Hunter Gamblin, Baylee Madisynn Gamblin, and Caden Wayne Gamblin; mother, Donna Matthews of Silsbee; brother, Wayne Howard Baumann, II of Silsbee; sister, Julie Nicole Cobb of Silsbee; stepfather, Kenneth Tribes of Vidor; aunts, Sharon Bohler, Deborah Tousha, and Phyllis Cravy; nieces and nephews, Cameron Cobb, Brocklynn Cobb, Sailor Sartin, and Zachary Sartin; lifelong friends, Connie and Doug Taylor of Mt. Belvieu; and numerous friends.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Jirrels officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
