

Vivian Janowski of Baytown was born February 13, 1923 in Verda, Louisiana and passed away with her family by her side, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the age of 89. She was a member of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church and had retired from Humana Hospital as an assistant dietician.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Julius ""Boots"" Janowski; her son, Dan Janowski; two brothers, Victor Hale and Dub Hale; and four sisters, Florence Wells, Ruby Wells, Ida Mae Isaacks, and her most beloved sister, Dolly Hale, who was her best friend. She is survived by her daughters, Sybil Boutin and LaVerne Henry, both of Baytown; grandchildren, Keath Janowski, Tim Eatherton, Kristina O'Rourke, Dina Bench, Scott Hatfield, and Jeremy Chandler; ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew who helped provide special care and love in her final days.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Her family would like to give special thanks to all of her caregivers at Swan Manor, the staff of San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, and Dr. Bernick for their help in providing her with loving care and support.
