

Wayne Hayden, 78, of Baytown, TX was born May 28, 1928 in Pelly and passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006 in a Houston hospital. He attended Lee College and Texas A & M University and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired from Exxon and attended Central Baptist Church. He was a private pilot and a WWII history buff.
Funeral services were private. A memorial service will by Saturday January 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Gladys Hayden, infant son, Mark Wayne Hayden, and brother, Kenneth Hayden and is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Lindsey Hayden of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Kathi Hayden Beasley and husband Dr. Charles W. Beasley and granddaughter, Sarah Katherine Beasley, all of Bellaire; nephew, Ray Hayden of Baytown; niece, Gayle Quinelly of Mont Belvieu; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanette Hayden and Betty Lindsey Foremen and husband Derral, all of Baytown, Don Lindsey of Alvin, and Horace Lindsey of Wooden; and special friends, Wendell Boyce of Baytown, Stacy Devillier of Winnie, and Donald Wayne Holley of Willis.
