Anna Belle Lewis of Vidor passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1918 in a house boat on the Sabine River to Morris and Evelyn (Borel) Barrilleaux, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 69 years, Jack; two sisters, Shirley Hinson and Inez Schommer. Anna was a sixty year resident of Vidor and was a wife, mother and homemaker. Mrs. Lewis enjoyed cooking and sewing and raising her six children. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Vidor, Texas. She is survived by her sons; David and wife Pat of Bleakwood, Steven of Beaumont; daughters; Linda, Barbara, Carol and Amanda all of Vidor; grandchildren, great grandchildren and brother, Everette Barrilleaux and wife Nancy of Beaumont; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her doctors and the staff nurses and caregivers of Texas Total Hospice. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later time.
