Funeral services for Barbara Lee Mitchell will be held Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Barbara was born December 4, 1939 in San Diego, California to Lee and Thelma Abney and passed away December 15, 2016 in Silsbee, Texas. Barbara is survived by her step-daughters, Charlotte Russell, Velinda Howard and Merlene Russell all of Buna; brothers, Frank Abney of California, and Robert Eugene David of Beaumont; sister, Frances Bentley of Silsbee; grandchildren, Kerry Dale Hamshire, James Allen Castelina, Barbara Ann Allen, Shelly Lowe, William Clyde Lowe, David Lee Allen and Hope Wiley. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
