Brendan”Paul’ was raised in Beaumont with his eight siblings. He attended Beaumont Charlton Pollard (BCP) and was extremely proud of that, graduating class of 1983. He was also proud that he worked at Burger Chef as a teenager. He loved reminiscing about his childhood and would sometimes like to visit the home they all grew up in. He worked for Kentwood Water as a salesman, and won salesman of the year in 1998. He also worked for Taylor Home Health as a sales/delivery person. He tried his hand at corrections for a brief period. Then he started developing major health issues causing disabilities. He moved to Louisiana to be close to his son and daughter in law, and help with his grandchildren there. He was very proud to be able to be there for them. He loved all of his children and grandchildren very much and loved to brag about them to anyone who’d listen. When the kids were little, their friends would call him dad or “POPS” and still do to this day, he absolutely loved that.
Brendan “Paul’ had a passion for LSU, that was his team! He loved to talk on the phone for hours with his baby girl. Or anyone for that matter! He supported his grandson with his baseball games and loved being called Paw-Paw. He loved his animals almost as much as his kids and grandkids, they were his babies. He loved coming to Beaumont to visit family, and catch up on everything with everyone. He wished he’d been able to travel to see his other family members that lived far away, unfortunately with his declining health he was unable to.
