Cynthia attended Beaumont High and went on to Lamar University where she got a degree in Dental Hygiene. She live most of her adult life in Dallas and love being in the sun and tennis. She eventually moved back to Beaumont and worked for UTMB Houston as a dental hygienist until she retired. Cynthia was beautiful inside and out. She was loved by all her siblings and her nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Garza and her father, Adam Gonzales.
Cynthia is survived by her brother Barney Garza, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, and her sisters, Toni Laird of Beaumont, Texas, Linda De La Cerda of Monterrey, Mexico, Felita Price of Beaumont, Texas and Camille Nelson of Beaumont, Texas.
Cynthia will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Cynthia's Life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703.
