Doris Foret, 74, of Beaumont passed away on Saturday August 2, 2014 at The Oaks of Beaumont. Doris was born on July 26, 1940 in Oakdale, Louisiana to her parents Jack and Bessie O'Banion Burnett who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Roland Foret in 1981. Mrs. Foret was a lifelong resident of Beaumont and was member of the Baptist Faith. She was a school bus driver for The Beaumont Independent School District until her retirement.
Surviving Doris are her daughter Tammy Foret of Beaumont, sons, John Foret of St. Petersburg, Florida, Burke Foret of Nederland, sister, Betty Paul and her husband W.L. of Bivens, Texas, brother, Johnny Burnett and wife Pam of Pine Prairie, Louisiana. Also surviving are her two grandchildren Bryce Foret and Avery Foret both of Nederland.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
