Dorothy L Linscomb Sinclair

Dorothy was born March 1, 1929, in Orange, Texas to John Robert Linscomb and Abby Prescilla Smith. She graduated Lutcher Stark High School where she was an Elite member of the Bengals and was asked to perform at Soldier Field in Chicago. She then attended Lamar University where she earned a 4 year degree. After many years of raising her children she became a registered nurse and later retired from Katy Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy had a captivating smile with a warm heart that earned her a multitude of friends from Beaumont, Houston and McKinney, Texas.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harless Glendel Sinclair; son, Glenn Sinclair; brother, Bentley Linscomb and sister, Jewel Duke. She is survived by daughter, Judy Sinclair Darst; son, Craig Lamar Sinclair; grandchildren, Jason Heath Darst, Kristin Reeves and Courtney Darst. She loved and dedicated her life to her family and nephews, Britt and Steve Bell.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burila to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
