Larry was born December 7, 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jesse and Lela Giles.
Mr. Giles served in the Army from January 30, 1957 thru February 17, 1960. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading western novels and was a huge University of Texas Longhorns fan.
Larry is preceded in death by parents, Jesse G. Giles and Lela B. Pace Giles; brothers, Dennis Giles and Don Giles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gretchen Giles; sons, Kevin Giles, Kenneth Giles, Gregg Wallace and Stephan Giles; daughters Kelly Rutledge and Jennifer Ogilvie; brother, Dale Giles; sister, Wanda Wolf and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
