Lillie Mae Hales age 88, passed away February 1, 2013 in Woodville. She was born August 20, 1924, in Nederland to Monroe and Hulda Findley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her church and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin S. Hales, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Alvin R. Hales and wife Doris of Beaumont, one daughter, Cheryl L. Kervin and husband Raymond of Lumberton, two brothers, Monroe Findley, Johnnie Findley and wife Phyllis, two sisters, Evelyn Conda, and Susie Findley, four grandchildren, Jonathan Kervin, Kevin Hales, Cynthia Powers, and Robert Kervin Snider, three great-grandchildren, Keldon Yahne, Cameron Yahne, and Danielle Powers.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, February 3, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
