

Louise “Flo” Frederick went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Beaumont, Texas. She was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on October 22, 1920 to Regina (Dupuy) and John Walter Broussard. Flo lived most of her adult life in New Orleans, after marrying George Frederick. She had a true green thumb and spent countless hours outside working in the yard and caring for many plants. After living nearly 50 years in New Orleans, she and George relocated to Beaumont to care for her parents, Regina and Maudy Temple. Flo was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Regina and Maudy Temple; father John Walter Broussard; husbands, Woodrow Hopkins and George Frederick; brother, John Walter Broussard, Jr.; sisters, Elaine Broussard and Alice Joyce Broussard Burns, and her precious daughter Sandra Hopkins Reagan. She is survived by her son, Woodrow Hopkins; grandson, John Bares; granddaughters, Tammy Denton and Lisa Alexander.
Flo was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and her infectious laugh, loving blue eyes and bright smile will be missed by many. It is with sincere appreciation, we thank Dr. Brown and the staff of Harbor Hospice for helping make her last journey one of love, peace and dignity.
Visitation will be from five until eight p.m. on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home’s Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
