Lucille Frances Brunet, 91, of Beaumont, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in her home. Lucille was born on January 7, 1925 in Nicholson, Georgia to her parents Pet Ebenezer Crawford and Annie Myrt Adams Crawford who precede her death.
Lucille was a member of the Fraternal Order of The Eagles Lodge # 116, VFW and Eastern Star of Beaumont. She loved to play bingo and the slot machines. Lucille was an avid reader who always had an appetite for Mexican food; especially at the Monterey House.
Surviving Lucille are her daughters, Diane Elsing and husband David of Vidor and Donna Summers and husband Robert of Lumberton; stepson, Jerry Brunet; brother, Bobby Crawford and wife Margie of Nicholson, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Marcantel, Morgan Summers, Lauren Summers, Katelyn Summers and Larry Martin; and In-Home Caregivers, Kimberly Rainwater and Peggy Craig Best.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
