Lucille Lenora Hinson

Lucille was married in Sugartown, Louisiana to AK David Hinson on May 21, 1949, and together they raised their children Danny and Barbara. Lucille loved her family very much. She was devout in her faith, and was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and gardening and could always be found helping others in their time of need. As her family expanded to include grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, she was affectionately known as Ma Ma Cil.

Lucille is survived by her son Danny Hinson and his wife Elva; and her daughter Barbara Bertrand and her husband Ivan; her grandchildren, April Leger and her husband Paul, Denise Johnson and her husband Brian, Angela Holmes and her husband John, Jeffery Bertrand and his wife Jackie; her great-grandchildren, Jessica Stark and her husband Adam, Lauren Thompson and her husband Timothy, Amanda Leger and her fiancé Shane Vangossen, Carter Johnson, Haley Johnson, Cole Johnson, Megan Holmes, Kayla Holmes, Emily Holmes, Joshua Holmes, Sarah Holmes, Aubrey Bertrand, Connor Bertrand and Blair Bertrand; her great-great grandchildren, Callie Thompson and Colt Thompson, and many nieces and nephews

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband AK David Hinson; her father William Hill Lanier; her mother Cora Young, and by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Lucille will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, and she will be remembered by many for her smile.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703, followed by A Celebration of Lucille's Life at 2:00 PM.
