

Lynn Kay Carney, 66, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, Florida. Lynn was born on August 6, 1947 to her parents Dale and Mable (Edwards) Pearmain who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband Larry Carney. A native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lynn had lived for the past thirty-one years in Lumberton. She was a Food Service Secretary for the Lumberton Independent School District. Surviving Lynn are her son Tracy Carney and his wife Christena of Lumberton, sister, Nicole Baker and her husband Preston of Lumberton, brother, Ed Pearmain and his wife Nila of Wichita, Kansas. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Brittany Hock and husband Scott, Victoria Davenport and husband Donnie, Shana Lewis and her husband Glen, Tamra Green, Telisha Green, Hailey Baker, Ashley Baker, Justin Baker, and Michael Baker. There are great grandchildren, Gavin Lewis, Drake Preston Baker, Jason Lee Baker, Lane Amith Baker, and Brooklynn Nicole Lee Baker and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. unitl 5:00 P.M. Sunday March 2, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday March 3, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
