

Mable Estelle Lee, of Beaumont, passed away on Sunday April 19, 2015 in Beaumont. Mrs. Lee was born on March 27, 1926 to William Earl and Beulah Hendricks in Matador, Texas. She worked in retail sales. She married Clarence Ray Lee in 1949 in Amarillo, Texas. They moved to Beaumont in 1963. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. Mrs. Lee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking, her family, and life to the fullest. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Hendricks, sisters, Dorothy Crooks, Mildred Hyde, and a grandson Michael Ray Smith, Jr. Her survivors include her children, Terry Ann Sawyer of Beaumont, Jerry Sterling and husband James of Beaumont, Dixie Seymour and husband Robert of Lumberton, Dovie Smith and husband Michael of Beaumont, Robert Lee of Sour Lake, and James Lee of Beaumont, sister Wanda Brooks and husband Daniel of Port Arthur. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice House 2450 N. Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas in Mrs. Lee’s honor.
