Mary Lida Stafford, 88, of Kingwood, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 in her home. She was born February 14, 1928 to her parents James Ettle Pattillo and Essie Rowena Bryant Pattillo who proceed her in death.
Mary was a church going proud Texan who was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed life. She worked as a Telephone Operator from 1945 to 1950. Mary spent 67 happy years as a wonderful wife to her loving husband, Charlie Sr. She was a loving and caring mother to their 5 children; Charles Jr., Kenny, Janice, Robin and Steve and grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Mary was loved by family and friends and will be truly missed everyday.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 14, 2016 beginning 12:00 p.m. and lasting until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
