Mrs Mildred Stagg

Mildred Leona Stagg, 92, of Beaumont, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Stagg was born on September 12, 1924 in Hampshire, Texas to Walter Robert Fischer and Eula Bell Fischer who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Fay Reginald Stagg; daughters, Juanita Stagg Johnson and Judy Stagg Fulbright and brother, Robert Fischer, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Stagg Hillin of Vidor; granddaughter, Stacy Wood of Vidor; grandsons, Cody Fulbright and Clint Fulbright both of Beaumont; two great grandchildren, Bradley Fulbright and Mason Fulbright both of Beaumont; sister, Leota Mae McDonald; brother, Orval Fischer and wife Ellen and by her sister-in-law, Emily Fischer. Mrs. Stagg was a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area and was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and being attentive to all those around her. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching and taking care of animals, especially cats. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 beginning at 12:00p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Coward officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery of Beaumont.
