Rodney John Rennick, 79, a lifelong resident of Beaumont, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1946, in Beaumont to the late John Alexander Rennick and Ateil Madeline (Riche) Rennick.
Rodney retired after 33 years of faithful service with Dupont Beaumont Works. Rodney was a simple man who loved the outdoors, his family and friends, and above all else, the Lord. Rodney had a fondness for his dogs, was a bird enthusiast and enjoyed hobbies, such as hunting especially his elk hunting adventures in Colorado. Rodney was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ateil Rennick; and his daughter, Deborah Ann Rennick.
Rodney is survived by his sons, Darrell Rennick and wife Melinda, and Mark Rennick and wife Jessica; his daughter, Laura Rennick; his sister, Mabel Blake and her children Vicki Laird and Michael Blake; his grandchildren, Kirt Rennick, Shelby Thompson, Blake Rennick, Ethan Rennick, and Vivien Rennick-Wier; his great-grandchild, Cole Thompson; and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, located at 4950 Pine, Beaumont, Texas, 77703. The service is scheduled for December 31, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am with military honors.
