Ronnie was born on February 27, 1957, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Clifton and Vicky Light. He was outgoing, humorous, and never met a stranger. Known for his strong work ethic, Ronnie was just as dedicated at home as he was in the business world.
Outside of work, Ronnie enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time outdoors. Some of his favorite moments were spent camping on the beach, crabbing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Above all, Ronnie was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. His generous spirit touched everyone he met—including his beloved rescue pets and all animals he encountered.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Jason Light and wife Natalee, and Stephen Light and husband Johnathan; his stepson, Leighton Gaurnere and wife Sarah; and his sister, Linda Light. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Sharon Light.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas.
