was born on June 27, 1934 to Enrique Ballesteros and Maria Govea Ballesteros, in Mexico
City, D.F., Mexico. She will be missed, but we know she is joyous in the
presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful founding member of La Iglesia Apostolica in
Beaumont, Texas.
Socorro will be remembered for her kind, gentle touch. Her attentiveness and
care towards all of God’s creation was evident to all who knew her. Socorro was a gifted caregiver, showing love not only to her patients but also to her beloved garden. She had a passion for her plants and flowers.
She enjoyed showing the garden to every visitor.
Socorro was preceded in death by her parents,Enrique Ballesteros and Maria
Govea Ballesteros, her husband, Felipe Iglesias, and her son Enrique Ballesteros.
She is survived by her son, Oscar Iglesias and his wife Ellen Iglesias of Wildwood, 11
grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
