

T O Hinton, 98, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 15, 2026 surrounded by his family at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Joaquin, Texas T O was a longtime resident of Beaumont, and was a retired repairman after many faithful years with S W Bell/AT&T.
T O proudly served his country in the United States Army and United States Coast Guard and Merchant Marines.
T O enjoyed yard work and being outside, gardening, painting, fast cars in his younger days, and stock car races.
A Celebration of T O's Life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the funeral home.
T O was preceded in death by his loving wife Bobbie Hinton, parents William and Virgie Taylor Hinton, brother Warren Hinton, sisters Cannie Lewis, Sybil Hooper, Doris Bush, his great granddaughter Shelby Kaye Brock, and his son-in-law David Lowry.
T O is survived by his sons Kenneth Hinton and his wife Loretta of Beaumont, Billy Hinton and his wife Teresa of Lumberton, Dewayne Hinton of Silsbee, and Tony Hinton and his wife Dianna of Nederland, daughters Nelda Lowry of Beaumont, and Brenda Raggio and her husband David of Baytown, brother Jimmy Hinton and his wife Margie of Winnie, ten grandchildren: Trey, David, Jake, Christina, Selena, Britani, Sheila, Kathy, Cody, and Justin, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
