Thomas "Tommy" Taylor

Thomas “Tommy” Taylor, age 54 of Lumberton, Texas, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 28, 2014 in Beaumont. Services will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Newell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Tommy was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 11, 1960 to the late JC and Grace Taylor. Tommy was a longtime Dallas Cowboy and NASCAR fan. Tommy loved his whole family and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents: JC Taylor and Grace Ida Gore Taylor and a brother, Jerry Taylor.

He is survived by his wife Paula Taylor. Baby boy, Justin Taylor and his wife Rachel and two baby girls: Cassi Taylor and Jason and Cortney Bragg and her husband Edward. Three angel grandbabies: Ashlyn, Kaylyn and Colton Bragg. Three brothers: James “Jim” Taylor, Marvin Taylor and Larry Taylor. Two sisters: Judy Bryant and her husband Jerry and Kathy Phelps and her husband Kevin. His four legged best friend, Zeus Apollo Taylor. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Darrel Mitchell, Raymond Gallier, Reggie Taylor, Kyle Gardner, James Kenneth Taylor, Tracy Waller, and Tyler Doyle will be serving as pallbearers and Johnny Baker, Kevin Phelps, Perry Preble and Jerry Bryant will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
