Trudy Verdine

On January 29, 1973, Trudy married the love of her life, Wayne Verdine, and together they shared 52 wonderful years. They raised three children and later welcomed grandchildren, to whom she was a proud and devoted “MawMaw.”

Trudy was a hard worker throughout her life and a Houston Astros fan. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family were evident in all that she did.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Clinton Gibbs Jr.; and her grandson, Ethan Verdine.

Trudy is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Verdine; her children, Christopher Verdine and wife Emily, Shannon Rose and fiancé Buck, and Stacie Porczynski and husband Adam; her grandchildren, Harrison Verdine, Mason Verdine, Emersyn Verdine, Dylan Rose, Tucker Henley, Evelyn Porczynski, and Noah Porczynski; her siblings, Wesley Gibbs and wife Edna, Terry Hamilton, Nancy Gibbs, Stella Welborn and husband Kenny, Guy Gibbs and wife Darlene, and Calvin Gibbs and wife Kellie; as well as numerous other cherished family members and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
