Vonette was a kind-hearted woman with more compassion than she could share. She loved animals and her husband Mark and everyone she met, with all of her heart. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she enjoyed decorating the house with angels and holiday cheer. She spent many years working as a Correctional Officer and Educational Director with Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and was devoted to helping inmates receive their GED to give them a head start at life upon release. Everyone who ever met Vonette loved her, and she touched many lives for the better. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Vonette was preceded in death by her father Vaughn Hamberlin and her mother Nanette Hamberlin.
Vonette is survived by her loving husband Mark Coffee; her brother Clifford Hamberlin and his wife Claudia of The Woodlands, Texas, her brother-in-law Michael Coffee and his wife Beverly of Beaumont, Texas and her sister-in-law Marilee Nash and her husband Rodney of Lumberton, Texas; her nieces, Christin Hamberlin-Brown, Carrie Hamberlin, Kelly Warren, Carolyn Coffee, Brandy Williamson, and Cherri Coffee; and her nephews Dustin Roach, Michael Coffee and Michael Dewayne Coffee.
