

Wanda Jeanne (Baker) Brantley, 77, a lifelong resident of the Beaumont and Vidor areas passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2016 in Beaumont. Mrs. Brantley was born on October 11, 1939 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents Vernon James Baker and Mary Louise Musick Baker who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband Cecil M. Brantley, brother; James Leslie Baker, nephew; Larry G. Bridges, and step-son; Paul Brantley.
Wanda was a Baptist by faith and a very dedicated homemaker who enjoyed quality time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She graduated with her class of 1957 from South Park High School in Beaumont.
She is survived by her daughter; Elizabeth Wisby and husband Kenneth of Vidor. sons; Richard Brannen and wife Claire of North Richland Hills, Texas, Tommy Glenn Brannen and wife Barbie of Duncanville, Texas, step-son; Martin Brantley and wife Wanda of Sour Lake; sister; Barbara Bridges and husband Author of Zavalla, four grandchildren; Clint Wisby and wife Natalie, Kelli Vacek and husband Damon, Kristin Downs and husband Derek, and Justin Brannen, seven great grandchildren, one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 26, 2016 from 12:00 noon until the service time of 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
