Altamae Dorsey, wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, friend, and so much more, has, at age 95, taken her leave from this earthly life to become a Guest of Honor in Heaven. From a farm girl in Minnesota to a successful business woman in Oregon, Alta’s life was a model of what faith and determination can achieve. Starting at age 13 when she left home in order to continue her education, Alta was a hard working and ambitious person with a loving and generous heart. She is survived by her children, family and many friends who will love and miss her very much. Those of us left behind will feel her absence sharply, but know that her reunion with friends and family who have gone before her will be a welcome, joyous and well earned celebration. Services to be held at 1pm on Monday, June 10, 2013 in Pegg, Paxson and Springer Funeral Home in Beaverton, Oregon.
