

Cecelia M. Jameson was born June 30, 1927 to Martin and Annie Joyce in Juntura, Ore., and passed away Nov. 4, 2016 in Beaverton, Ore. Raised in Juntura, she worked as a secretary at the Hines Lumber Company. She married Joe Jameson at Holy Family Catholic Church in Burns, Ore. on June 19, 1948; they moved to the Beaverton area in 1956, where they raised their 10 children. Joe preceded her in death in 1980.
Cecelia was a full-time homemaker until 1968, when she went to work at Tektronix. She subsequently worked many years in the ambulance industry in Portland, first at AA Ambulance and then Care Ambulance. She then worked as an administrator in the home health industry, where she led a program out of Holiday Park Hospital called House Calls. She was an active member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Beaverton for as long as she lived in the area. She was a member of the St. Gerard Guild, volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul Society and other charities, and was active at St. Cecilia Catholic School while her children were in attendance as a member of the Mothers Club, and a room mother.
Cecelia is survived by her 10 children: Joseph (Karen) of Springfield, Ore.; Patrick of Boise, Idaho; Barbara Casey of Portland; Shelia of Portland; Christopher (Jill) of Yorba Linda, Calif.; Benny of Beaverton; Brad (Lisette) of Riverside, Ill.; Thomas of Beaverton; Maura Thompson (Paul) of Poulsbo, Wash.; and Joyce of Beaverton; grandchildren Matthew Jameson (Crystal), Cody Jameson, Lindsay Jameson, Kaitlin Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Jack Jameson, and Mae Jameson; and great-granddaughter Aubree Jameson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her first cousin, Helen Stanton of Ontario, Ore.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Beaverton, Ore. Recitation of the rosary will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel.
