

Her parents Thomas Earl Willoughby II and Mary Louise Walton Willoughby, sister Mary Margaret Connolly and brother Thomas passed on before her. She is survived by brother William 'Bill' Willoughby, children Sue Veith, Cathy Seltzer, Bill and Jim Perkins, grandchildren David and Aaron Seltzer, Carol Pardon and Cathleen Valentine, and one great grandson, Austin Valentine.
Lois was born in Homestead, PA, in the Pittsburgh area, and attended Edgewood High. She was a graduate of the Ad-Art School and worked as a commercial artist for newspapers and department stores until marriage.
She married Harley Perkins, Jr. also of Pittsburgh, and moved to Baltimore, Maryland, Further travels took her to Los Altos, California, Corvallis, Portland, and Beaverton, Oregon. She raised 4 children. After divorce, Lois returned to work as a circuit board inspector (Tektronix), caregiver, lobby maid (Greenwood Inn), volunteer (area school libraries and cafeterias and Oregon Food Bank), and finally as a product demonstrator (Costco) into her early 80s.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered as mother and friend. A funeral is to be held at 11am Friday June 12, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5105 SW Franklin Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005. Reception follows in church hall.
