Dear Stevens’ Family,
Cookie& I were next door neighbors for 15 years.
We loved to walk together.  We usually did this on the weekends & during school breaks as I was working full time.  Of course we would talk as we walked.  It was a beautiful time of sharing.  I have missed her more than you know.  She was such a precious person.  I will be forever grateful that she was part of my life.

Cookie was the sister I never had.  Cookie
& Jack were our next door neighbors for 
about 15 years in Chula Vista.  They would come over to our house most weekday 
evenings.  We shared many, simple good 
times with a cup of coffee.  Cookie & I were walking partners.  We loved them both &
they are missed dearly!

Cookie was the most loving and kind-hearted woman I have ever known. She was a caretaker of everyone around her, never asking for anything in return. She (and Jack) treated me like a daughter and my kids as grandkids, I consider her my second mom and I’m so sorry I never got to say good bye and get one more hug from her. I’ll miss our visits and miss hearing her happy voice and smiling face. She was truly a gift from heaven and we will all miss her dearly.

To  Brittney, Sam, Glenn, Brett, Matthew and families.  I just wanted to let you guys know how much I loved you and your families.  Grandma Cookie will be GREATLY MISSED. But she's with Grandpa  Jack now.

Thinking back to the foggy memories
when I was kid, to the more recent ones. The thought of my grandma has such a warmth in my life. She's someone I wish I never had to say bye too. I'm so proud of all she taught me. To have such a beautiful person as my grandma, makes me smile. She impacted so many people, she was the glue in a lot of our lives keeping us together. With much love with much joy I am happy She's with my Grandpa now. With all my heart I will miss you both dearly,

When I first met Cookie, I was so nervous that they would not like me. We walked in the door and they were both very open arms. To say the least they were amazing people. Never judgmental or anything. They accepted me and my family. They touched every single person they came across in one way or another. She has taught me a lot. I love you Cookie and I will forever miss you!
