Naomi "Nicki" Watts White passed away from natural causes. She was born on a farm in Franklin County, Kansas and spent her early years in Ottawa, Kansas before moving to Washington. Nicki graduated from Western Washington University and became an elementary school teacher. She taught school in Washington, Japan, and France before meeting her future husband of 63 years, Bruce. They moved to Portland, where Nicki continued to teach. She was a loving wife and mother, and with Bruce, she enjoyed many adventures around the globe. Nicki especially liked camping, crafting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and volunteering at the library. She is survived by her son Peter (Lori), grandsons Jason and Ryan, nieces Thea Sanchez and Martha Russell, and grand niece Mary Daggett.
A celebration of her life will be on August 3, 2024 2pm-5pm at The Westbrook Clubhouse in Beaverton, OR.
