Patricia Patty Boire

Patricia Michele Boire, 74, of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away on October 12, 2023. She was born on February 9, 1949, in Albany, California, to the late Harold and Dorothy Andrew.

Patty met John Boire during her senior year of high school, and they were married in Salem, Oregon, in 1971. She dedicated her life to her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Patty was known for her great sense of humor and kindness. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was actively involved in the leadership of local youth sports activities.

In her free time, Patty's favorite place was spending time at their cabin on the McKenzie River. She found solace in kayaking, fishing, and just hanging out. Patty also had a passion for sewing, knitting and gardening, which she pursued with great enthusiasm.

Patty worked for the Tigard School District as a middle school secretary, where she made a positive impact on the lives of students and colleagues alike. She was admired for her dedication and hard work.

Patty is survived by her loving husband, John Boire, her daughter Julie Boire Rahsaan and her husband Michael, her son Michael Boire and his wife Laura, and her granddaughter Jordyn Rahsaan. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Andrew and Michele Purkey.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held in the Spring of 2024. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel, located at 4675 SW Watson Avenue, Beaverton, OR 97005.
