Thomas had many achievements in his life, most notably his time spent in Finance and Real Estate, where he spent upwards of thirty years as a real estate appraiser. He also dedicated several years of service to the Army Reserves. When not working, Thomas often spent his time gardening, fishing and fencing.
Thomas is survived by his son Steve Hoffman of Beaverton, Oregon, Doug (Priya) Hoffman of Omaha, Nebraska, and his grandchildren Ben, Mark, Matthew and Maria.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Carel O'Donnell; his father Charles Hoffman; his mother Catherine Murray and his son, Joseph Hoffman.
The Hoffman family would like to thank Thomas's wonderful hospice team, Margaret, Mary and Michelle, who provided exceptional and loving care.
Donations can be made in honor of Thomas to Leo High School of Chicago, Illinois & St. Cecilia's Church.
A memorial service will be held for friends and family in Omaha on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 10:30am at the St. Margaret Mary’s Church.
