Cheryl Diane Carter, age 72, of Poland, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Cheryl was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Mark "Deacon" and Helen (Reinking) Howard. She worked in the warehouse for Lane Bryant for a number of years. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, John Crooke.
Cheryl is survived by her sons, David Carter and his wife Shelly, Scott Carter and his wife Evanglin; her sister, Linda Crooke and her brothers, Danny Howard and his wife Mary Jo and Mark Howard and his wife Diane; 2 grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Carter; 4 great-grandchildren, Reid, Sutton, Grayson and Holden Carter; and her former husband, Roger Carter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Little & Son Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis.
