Clara Agnes Hoffman

Clara Agnes Hoffman, age 92, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Clara was born May 11, 1929 in Vincennes to the late Clarence and Magdalen Kaiser. She graduated from IU School of Nursing, specializing in newborn nursery care. Clara married Hilfred "John" Hoffman on July 28, 1951. Clara was a Registered Nurse and retired from Community Hospital Indianapolis. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Clara was an avid quilter and belonged to multiple quilting clubs. She also belonged to a voluntary organization that made quilts for infants and St. Elizabeth's Home/Catholic Charities. In her spare time, she was an avid reader. Clara will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Clara is survived by her loving husband, John Hoffman; children, Cynthia "Cyndy" Wycoff, Pauline "Paula" (Dave) Oliverio, Steven (Monie) Hoffman, Wayne Hoffman and John Hoffman; grandchild, Christopher William Wycoff; and 2 great grandchildren, Christian Michael Wycoff and Whitney Anne Wycoff. Clara was preceded in passing by her infant son, John Francis Hoffman; and her parents. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN 46107. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. On John and Clara's 70th Wedding Anniversary, her godson Father Gary Kaiser offered a memorial mass in her honor.
