Dale David Martin
Dale Martin 80, passed away on April 30, 2021. He was born to the late Leslie and Rachel (Love) Martin in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Franklin Township High School. He was Head Pressman at Rand McNally for 33 years and All Bright Lighting, Inc. for 5 years prior to retiring. He was a parishioner at Nativity Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating, camping, wood working, bird watching, piddling and fixing things. One of his greatest accomplishments was building the family home.
He was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Eddy) married on November 10, 1962. He had five children, Dale David Martin II (LeeAnne), Denise Hughes, Carla Holland (Andy), Charla Graveel (Darren), and Michael Martin (Kathy.) He was the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren (Cori Lock, Deidra Rosemeyer, Cassity Martin, Rachel Martin, Rylee Screeton, Alec Holland, Alexa Holland, Gabby Payne) and 3 great grandchildren, Aria, Tatum, Kyler and two expecting. Other survivors include his brothers, Keith and William Martin.
He was kindhearted and did his best to help others. He was very patient, creative, hard-working, and had a sincere demeanor. He will be dearly missed by all the hearts he touched throughout his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his sister (Charlene Burnett), brother (John Martin), and his parents.
Visitation will be held at Nativity Catholic Church in Indianapolis on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Funeral Mass will begin immediately following at noon. Burial will take place at Acton Cemetery.
