83, passed away peacefully at home March 23, 2016. She was born on November 10, 1932 in Brewersville, IN to the late Christian and Ruth Amstutz.
Maxine was a secretary for General Electric for over 30 years and a legal secretary for 10 years.
Maxine is survived by her daughter Joyce E. McGuire; son Stephen J. Shipley; grandchildren Jason (Brandi) McGuire, Amber (Andy) Elsner, Ryan Shipley and Dustin Shipley; great grandchildren Randi. Kila, Melanie, Lane, Drew, and Brooks; great great grandchildren Evelyn, Peyton, Khaylee, Cayson, Noah, and Alyas; sister Laura Davis and her Yorkie Cozi. She was preceded in death by her husband John Shipley ; great grandson Luke Elsner; sisters Mary Pollock, Anne Gearries, Alice Pearson, and Emma Amstutz; and brothers John, Frank and Abe Amstutz.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 30 at 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, IN.
