59, of Indianapolis, departed this life March 27, 2013. He was born May 2, 1953 to the late Herbert K. and Colleen L. (Berry) Roberts. He proudly served in the United States Air Force / Special Operations Unit. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Herbert had worked as a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy and at Hill-Rom Corporation. He is survived by his son, Travis (Shawna) Roberts; daughters Chantel Lang and Britiany Denton; fiancé, Claudia Worden; daughter, Danielle Worden; son, Chuck (Lora) Hoagland; sister, Nancy Shaw; grandsons, Caleb and Jonathan Jones; niece, Jeannie Jo Shaw and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 PM on Monday, April 1st in Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM.
