Ida Bertha Holcomb

Saturday afternoon 12:25 PM was taken home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was welcomed into this world on March 17, 1929. We will miss her very much. We will cherish her memories. She was the wife of the late Donald S. Holcomb of 49 years; mother of the late Ronnie Lee Holcomb and grandmother of the late Ronnie Lee Holcomb Jr. Ida is survived by son Steven W. (Marta) Holcomb; daughter Lila Kay (Mark) Bovard; grandchildren Kimberly (Rick) Ferguson, Mark (Christy) Bovard II, Brian (Janet) Holcomb, Zachary Holcomb and Kayla Holcomb; 10 great grandchildren; brother Ray Dotts. She had several nieces and nephews she loved very much. Ida worked 27 years at Western Electric on Shadeland Ave. and retired in 1983; was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America; worked three years at Cold Springs School of handicap children, and worked three years a Miejers in Avon. We would like to thank all the workers and caregivers at Riverwalk for the loving care they gave our mother. You are very special people. Visitation will be held Thursday Oct. 18th at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove from 3:00-8:00 PM. Mark Bovard II will officiate funeral services Friday Oct 19th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
