67, of Beech Grove, passed away while under Hospice care on August 16, 2014. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, George and Fern Hommel. She loved all creatures great and small, knew all things rock & roll, loved and cooked delicious food, and had great wit. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Jody Willits of Ocala Florida, her nephews, Barry (Gay) Willits of Scottsdale, AZ, Andy (Zinnia) Willits of Charleston, SC., grand nephews, Nick, Chet, Cal and Gray, along with grand niece, Ella. A memorial gathering will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 10:00a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to your local Humane Society.
