

76, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 2, 2020. Jerry was born in Decatur, Illinois, on September 28, 1943, to the late Elmer and Evelyn Erisman. Jerry graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1962 and went on to serve his country in the US Air Force. Upon returning home he hired in at Allison's / Rolls Royce as a Stationary Engineer and retired after 40 years as a Supervisor. Jerry was a member of the Beech Grove Masonic Lodge #694, a life long member of the Beech Grove Moose Lodge #1883, Beech Grove Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4167 and Kingman American Legion Post 384.
Jerry loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings. He also loved his beer and spending time with the guys at the "Moose". He was quick to help anyone in need and never met a stranger. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time at his lake property in Kingman, Indiana.
Jerry is survived by his Children; Jerry (Donna) Erisman Jr., Jeremiah A. Erisman, Nicole (Harley) Simpson and Kristina (Thomas) Erisman, Grandchildren; Shelby (Levi), Chelsi (Athene), Jaycee, Nevaeh, Serenity, Jeremiah II, Stephaine, Harley II and Sophia, Great-Grandchildren; Aiden, Aaliyah, Dayna, Tinley, Justin, Sophia and Brayden, and long time companion; Cynthia Robbins
He is preceded in death by his Daughter; Denise A. Erisman and Sister; Sue E. Erisman.
Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 4:00pm-8:00pm (with a Masonic Service at 7:00pm). Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 12:00pm with visitation one hour prior to the start of services. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
