Marcia Anne Cleary

Marcia is survived by her loving husband Michael D Cleary of 55 years; her brothers Phillip King of Indianapolis, Robert King of Utah; sister Marian Quinn of Plainfield; her five children Kathleen (Richard) Boye, Michael (Molly) Cleary, John (Cindy) Cleary, Maureen (Scot) Marsh, and Robert (Angela) Cleary; eleven grandchildren; Michael Lee, Anthony, Rachel and Sarah Boye, Jack and Maggie Cleary, Connor, Julia and Ryan Cleary, Gavin and Alexis Marsh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marcia was a long-time member of Holy Name Church in Beech Grove. She was a graduate of Ladywood All-Girls School where she cultivated a passion for cooking, organizing and hosting large gatherings for her family and community. Marica was an active member of the Cathedral Mothers Club and a devout Cathedral High School football fan who relished in attending Friday games with her family and friends. The daughter of a United States Marine, she was a proud supporter of the USO; several of her children and grandchildren have followed in his footsteps to serve our Country. She was a talented seamstress and showed her love sewing clothing and keepsakes for her family.

Please join in celebrating Marcia’s life. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 9:30-10:30am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church located at 89 N 17th Ave in Beech Grove. Friends and Family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30am with Father Binu officiating. There will be a private entombment at Calvary - Holy Cross St Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a mercy meal immediately following the funeral service.
