Martin "Marty" Allen Taylor

Martin "Marty" Allen Taylor, age 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Marty was born on December 21, 1957 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Charles and Phyllis Taylor. Marty was a jack of all trades, but he spent a good part of his career as a general contractor. Marty loved all Hard rock music, The Beatles, Ozzy/Black Sabbath, his Colts blue truck, playing pool and watching basketball and football. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his ornery spirit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Marty is survived by his loving wife, Stacy L. Taylor; children, Angie Smith, Ian (Venecia) Taylor, Bridget (Josh) Carr, Ali Meckley and Jonathan Lathrop; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wiley, Aiden Wiley, Myra Tessmer, Kaytlynn DiDomenico, Noah Carr and Avery Carr; and his siblings, Tolly Thomas, Chet Taylor, Debbie Cooper and Leslie Brandenburg. Marty was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Taylor and infant sister, Stacy Taylor. A visitation for Marty will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A second visitation will occur Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM also at the funeral home. Please adhere to all coronavirus mandates currently in effect. In honor of Marty's favorite kind of music, guests are welcome to wear any John Lennon, The Beatles or rock and roll t-shirt of their choice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
