Nina J. Jones

88, of Indianapolis passed away on August 29, 2015. Nina was born on August 7, 1927 in Allen County, Kentucky. She married her husband, Lester D. Jones on January 22, 1947 in Austin, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her 5 sisters; Myrtle, Annie Marie, Lyla Haze, Inus and Ola, along with 1 brother; Bureal Wheeler.

Nina is survived by her husband; Lester D. Jones, son; Timothy( Gena) Jones, daughter; Donna Christine Jackson, grandchildren; David Wayne Martin, Tracy Renae Woolbright, Michael Alan Martin, Timothy Matthew Jones, Brandon Lewis Jones and Justin William Jones, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Nina enjoyed attending church, cooking and baking pies. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially during the holidays. We loved our Granny (Gran-Gran) with all our hearts and she will be missed so very much.

Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral Service will be immediately following at 1:00pm in the funeral home.
