78, of Beech Grove, passed away on June 9, 2017. Roy was the cornerstone of his family and will be dearly missed by his children, Catherine (Keith) Murphy, Patti (Mark McGirr) Murphy, James (Evelyn) Murphy, and Brenda Murphy; his grandchildren, Brian, David and Amy Matheson, Meagan Shelley, Matilda McGirr, Torren Murphy, and Zachary and Taylor Hensley; 9 great grandchildren; and his siblings, Keith, Dale and Janis Murphy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita “Jodie”; his parents, Coy and Claudia; and his brothers, Sam, Gene and Carlton Murphy. Visitation for Roy will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4-8pm in Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel.
