Silvia Levi Jones

Silvia Levi Jones, age 79, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born in Tela, Honduras and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was 16. Silvia attended secretarial school upon high school graduation. It was in Louisiana that she met the love of her life, David Lloyd Jones II, on a blind date at Fort Ord. That chance meeting blossomed into a lifetime of love, and together they recently celebrated 57 wonderful years of marriage.

A woman of culture and refinement, Silvia had a deep appreciation for classical music, particularly opera, and found joy in many forms of artistic expression. She had an impeccable eye for interior design and fashion, always turning heads with her effortlessly elegant style. Known for her signature headbands—always perfectly coordinated with her outfits—she exuded style and charm in everything she did.

Above all, Silvia’s greatest accomplishment was the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. She was a woman of unwavering faith, a radiant presence who lit up every room, and a source of endless laughter with her sharp wit and humor.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Lloyd Jones II; her beloved children, Victoria Maria (Jones) Sullivan and David Lloyd Jones III; her cherished grandchildren, Connor Brooks Sullivan, Cary David Sullivan, Zoe Marie Jones, Samantha Suzanne Jones, and David Lloyd Jones IV; her brother Giovanni Levi; her sister-in-law Claire Levi; her daughter-in-law Annie Jones and great grand daughter-in-law Chloe Sullivan. She is also lovingly remembered by her in-laws Robert and Patricia Jones, Brooks and Faye Jones, and William and Caroline Jones, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.
