 Obituario de Vincent Gerhard Nagy
Vincent Gerhard Nagy, age 96, of Beech Grove, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Vince was born in Sioux City, Iowa on March 31, 1923 to Marie (Sunderman) Nagy and Martin Nagy. He was a long term member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove where he served in several committees, the Men's Club, and also was an Eucharistic Minister. Vince graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in Chemical Engineering after serving in the Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War. He worked 40 years at Reilly Tar & Chemical. Vince was a dedicated family man, an avid golfer, and a long term volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul. He is survived by; daughter Laura Brown (William); son John Nagy (Donna); son Martin Nagy (Lisa); son Paul Nagy (Lorie) and daughter Ellen Pichereau (Lionel); 9 grandchildren, Christopher Brown (Nohemi), Ryan Brown (Rebecca), Joanna Winster (Fred), Suzanne Nagy (Jeremy Mosher), Joel Chabrier, Elijah Chabrier, Joseph Nagy, Zachary Nagy, and Nicholas Nagy; 5 great grandchildren, Indira and Elizabeth Brown, Yasmin Martinez, Theodore and Edith Winster; sister Gertrude Will, and several nieces and nephews. Vince was preceded in death by his first wife Kathleen "Katy" (Wolf) Nagy, and his second wife Mary (Elford) Nagy; father Martin Nagy and mother Marie Nagy. A visitation for Vince will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107. A burial will occur at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 435 West Troy Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46225 at a later date.
